This is a two-ended hiking trail with two trailheads, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can backcountry trek it just one way. With its 4.8 miles of walking distance it's a mid length backcountry trek. This backpacking and hiking trail sometimes gets very dry, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. The total elevation difference for this hiking trail is 657 feet which is lower than average. This backcountry walk shouldn't take more than 4 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. Devils Gulch Trail stays roughly within the same elevation zone the whole time, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your backcountry trek. This is not a very long backpacking and hiking trail but it's always good to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen.
