the driest of the months is October. Denney Trail is very far from the closest big settlement, and many people like to hike here to be in the neighborhood of the wilderness. Denney Trail is not that long but it's always wonderful to bring some emergency supplies, you never know
what could happen. The total elevation difference for Denney Trail is 1,779 feet, and that is about average. This trek shouldn't take more than 5 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. There are not too many backpacking and hiking trails in this
area. The length of this backpacking trail is about average with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a brilliant backpacking and hiking trail for experienced trekkers in magnificent shape.
Briefly about the general area: There's so much to do here at
Denney Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Beaver Lake Campground is a great place for that, and swing by West Fork Cedar Creek it's a glorious place to explore. Denney Trail is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Beth Lake Campground is a wonderful local campground; do go to Cedar Creek while you're here at Denney Trail.
