Washington hiking trails - Deer Lake Trail, Olympic Mountains, Clallam County

   
  Trails are wonderful and plentiful in Washington, and Deer Lake Trail is one of them, and it's in Clallam County. Washington is a wonderful outdoors state. Deer Lake Trail is not very in the vicinity of Port Angeles at all, but backcountry hiking along this backpacking and hiking trail is very enjoyable. The length of Deer Lake Trail is about average with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it an outstanding wilderness hiking trail for experienced backcountry trekkers in wonderful shape. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's
    to Deer Lake Trail, and the overnight is rather cooler of course, frequently in the 40's. Throughout the winter the highs are frequently in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 30's for Deer Lake Trail. With its 6.8 miles of walking distance it's an average length backcountry hiking
trail. This backcountry walk shouldn't take more than 6 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. Hey, time for a backcountry trek don’t you think? Deer Lake Trail in Clallam County, Washington is just what you need. If you happen to be in Washington, why not go backcountry backpacking, it is a tremendous way to spend some time. Trekking here in the Olympic Mountains is a really great way to spend quality time in the wilderness. There are so many wilderness hiking trails in this neighborhood. And  
keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in place. The total elevation difference for Deer Lake Trail is 1,835 feet which is an average number. This is a backcountry hiking trail that is quite long, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. Different parts of Deer Lake Trail are at very different elevations which of course means you need to be prepared for different conditions on different parts of the backcountry hiking trail. Deer Lake Trail has only one trailhead, so in and out is the way to backcountry hike it normally. Deer Lake Trail is a wet place that gets a large amount of rain; November is when you get the most rain here while July is generally the driest month. Each wilderness hiking trail in Washington is different from the others.

This place, Deer Lake Trail, it simply has so much outdoors exciting stuff. Don't leave Deer Lake Trail without first paying a visit to Sol Duc Falls, and you can stay the night at Soleduck Campground. Yep, outdoors enjoyable stuff truly is bountiful here in the Olympic Mountains. Bogachiel Park is a lovely place any time of year, and drift down the rapids of Soleduck River - North Fork in a kayak.
If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Olympic Mountains. Seven Lakes Basin is a tremendous place to check out; get yourself into a kayak and hit Lyre River. There's so much to do here at Deer Lake Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Log Cabin Resort and Trailer is a magnificent place for that; obviously Seven Lakes Creek is a picturesque stream that is worth stopping at.
You'll meet a lot of folks from Port Angeles here; why not a little side spree to Canyon Creek.
