conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. Each one of the many hiking trails of Washington is different from the others. This backcountry trek shouldn't take more than 1.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get
stuck so be prepared for that. Deadfall Trail has only one trailhead, so in and out is the way to backcountry walk it normally. High temperatures at Deadfall Trail through the summer are in the 60's; the night is a little cooler of course, commonly in the 50's. The cold days of
the winter come with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Deadfall Trail dipping down into the 30's through winter nights.
Briefly about the general area: If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Olympic Mountains. Deadfall Trail is a
great spot to visit for more than one day, William and Lorraine Sulzbach is a great spot to camp nearby. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Deadfall Trail has to offer, you can camp at Falls View Campground, and don't forget to take a perfect little trip to Eightmile Creek.
