Washington hiking trails - Deadfall Trail, Olympic Mountains, Clallam County

   
  If you are in Washington during backcountry hiking season you have to go backcountry hiking. If you happen to be in Washington, why not go backcountry hiking, it is so much fun. Deadfall Trail is not very next to Bremerton-Silverdale at all, but it is an enjoyable location to backcountry hike. Glorious hiking trails in Washington are in abundance, and one of these is Deadfall Trail in Clallam County. Deadfall Trail is a very short hiking trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it an excellent hiking and backpacking trail for the
    average person looking for an excellent adventure. The total elevation difference for this backcountry hiking trail is 1,380 feet which is about average. Even though this is not a very long great outdoors trail you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something
happens. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in location. There are not too many hiking and backpacking trails in this neighborhood. We all need to get out in the fresh air once in a while, and Deadfall Trail in Clallam County, Washington is a really splendid location to spend some time. Deadfall Trail is 1.6 miles long it's a short wilderness hiking trail. You spend the whole hike in roughly the same elevation zone, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your hike. Deadfall Trail gets very little precipitation;  
December is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month of the year is July. Backcountry trekking here in the Olympic Mountains is a really perfect way to spend quality time in the outdoors. Sometimes this great outdoors trail gets really dry, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. Each one of the many hiking trails of Washington is different from the others. This backcountry trek shouldn't take more than 1.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. Deadfall Trail has only one trailhead, so in and out is the way to backcountry walk it normally. High temperatures at Deadfall Trail through the summer are in the 60's; the night is a little cooler of course, commonly in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Deadfall Trail dipping down into the 30's through winter nights.

Briefly about the general area:
If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Olympic Mountains. Deadfall Trail is a great spot to visit for more than one day, William and Lorraine Sulzbach is a great spot to camp nearby. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Deadfall Trail has to offer, you can camp at Falls View Campground, and don't forget to take a perfect little trip to Eightmile Creek.
