| | High temperatures at Dark Meadows Trail during the summer are in the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Dark Meadows Trail descend into the 10's. Being 5.4 miles long it's an average length backcountry hiking trail. Knuppenburg Lake Campground is a fine campground nearby, and why not check out close by South Fork Clear Creek
while you're here at Dark Meadows Trail. That right there is a load of cool stuff already but it goes on, the Northern Cascade Range has it all. It's a glorious idea to pop by North Fork Clear Creek, it's in the vicinity of Dark Meadows Trail, and get your heart beating on the
pleasant whitewater of Summit Creek.
White Pass Campground is a pleasant local campground; a perfect location to go to is White Pass. You can run the rapids of Cowlitz River - Clear Fork near Dark Meadows Trail.
