Get wet paddling on White River, and naturally Hardwood Creek flows through this area. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Dalles Ridge Trail has to offer, you can camp at The Dalles Campground; there's some flowing water close by, Deep Creek is a stream you can stop by during your stay.
