Washington hiking trails - Crooked Creek Trail, Blue Mountains, Garfield County

   
  Each one of the many backpacking and hiking trails of Washington has something unique to offer. Crooked Creek Trail is located a pretty long trip from La Grande, but it is a good wilderness trail. Washington has plenty of good backpacking and hiking trails; one of them being Crooked Creek Trail in Garfield County. Hiking and backpacking trails like this one here in the Blue Mountains are a very delightful way to see these highlands. This is one of many backpacking trails in the surrounding region. Crooked Creek Trail goes through some very different elevations
    which of course means you need to be prepared for different conditions on different parts of the backcountry hiking trail. Washington is a magnificent outdoors state. This walk should take you about 6.5 days, so make sure you've got all your overnight gear packed. This backpacking
and hiking trail has a total elevation difference of 4,731 feet which is higher than average. Hiking here in Washington is a perfect way to spend some time. Crooked Creek Trail is a hiking trail of delightful length having an average number of uphill miles which makes this backpacking trail magnificent for hard core backpackers looking for adventure. Put on your backcountry backpacking shoes, and hit the wilderness trail, Crooked Creek Trail in Garfield County, Washington is a good site for getting out. Keep in mind that this is a long great outdoors trail,  
so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go. For the duration of the summertime here at Crooked Creek Trail, high temperatures mostly reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Crooked Creek Trail. Crooked Creek Trail is a location that is pretty dried out mostly; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This is a two-ended backpacking and hiking trail with two trailheads, so backcountry hiking it one way is an option if you can arrange for a ride back. Being 42.8 miles long; it's considered a longer backcountry trek. This vicinity does get very dry sometimes, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go.

Briefly about the general area:
Trout Creek is a delightful stream that is worth checking out; a wonderful place to camp here at Crooked Creek Trail is Tepee Campground. A splendid spot in the neighborhood of Crooked Creek Trail is Cross Canyon, and Ant Flat is right here at Crooked Creek Trail.
This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. Why not pop by close by Cougar Creek while you're here at Crooked Creek Trail, and why not camp at Teepee Campground if you're here at Crooked Creek Trail. Yeah, come up here to the Blue Mountains for a brilliant time. Fairview Spring is a fine local attraction, and drift down the rapids of Grande Ronde River in a kayak. While you're here at Crooked Creek Trail you have to visit Getaway Point; get soaked paddling on Grande Ronde River.
Be careful coming to the Blue Mountains, you might not ever wanna return home again. Put some time aside to spend at Bear Willow Spring while you're here at Crooked Creek Trail, and a fine spot like Elk Flat here at Crooked Creek Trail is too fine to miss.
