that is about average. Sometimes this hiking and backpacking trail gets really dry, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. Trekking here in the Northern Cascade Range is the best way to enjoy these summits.
Some parts of this trail are much higher up than other parts of the trail, and that means that some parts of the trail could be very different from other parts of it. This is a two-ended wilderness trail with two trailheads which means you have the option of backcountry backpacking
it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end. This is an area covered with lots of backpacking trails.
