Washington hiking trails - Coxit Creek Trail, Northern Cascade Range, Okanogan County

    the 10's. This trek shouldn't take more than 6.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. These backpacking and hiking trails here in the Northern Cascade Range are the
best way to enjoy these highlands. There are so many backcountry trails in this vicinity. The total elevation difference for this trail is 2,089 feet which is about average. Coxit Creek Trail goes through some very different elevations, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. When you're here in Washington backcountry trekking along one of its wilderness trails is always a fun thing to do. Coxit Creek Trail is pretty waterless typically; the wettest month of the year is typically December, that's the one that snows  
the most while July is typically the driest month. Put on your trekking shoes, and hit the trail, Coxit Creek Trail in Okanogan County, Washington is a glorious spot to go. With its 7.6 miles of walking distance it's a mid length trek. This region does get very dry sometimes, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. This trail has two trailheads, so backpacking it one way is an option if you can arrange for a ride back. This is a long hiking trail, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. Coxit Creek Trail is a mid-length backpacking and hiking trail having an average number of uphill miles which makes it a good backcountry trail for experienced walkers in great shape. Great outdoors trails are nice and plentiful in Washington, and one of those is Coxit Creek Trail in Okanogan County.

Coxit Creek Trail is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Alder Campground is a wonderful local campground, and Angel Pass is a wonderful place to spend some time.
Now, you may believe that's plenty but there's even more exciting stuff to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. A good site to camp here at Coxit Creek Trail is Kerr Campground; don't forget to take a magnificent little trip to Spring Creek. Do set aside some time for Salmon Meadows since you're here at Coxit Creek Trail; obviously South Fork Coxit Creek is a stunning stream that is worth visiting.
