Briefly about the general area: Not far from Cortright Creek Trail you find Cortright Point, and why not camp at Soda Springs Campground if you're here at
Cortright Creek Trail. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Northern Cascade Range. If you come at the right time of year, Summit Creek offers some nice whitewater. This river is so good. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Fish Ladder Falls; a wooded
neighborhood close by is Gifford Pinchot National Forest. So much cool stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range, not sufficient time. There are some great whitewater spots on Cowlitz River - Clear Fork, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Allred Creek. So much amusing
stuff close to Cortright Creek Trail, clearly extraordinary. Carlton Pass is a fine location to check out close by, and if you came for an overnight stay Knuppenburg Lake Campground is a fine spot to camp. A visit to Cortright Creek Trail wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Log Spring; some of the water nearby flows, like Pony Creek.
