an average number of uphill miles which makes this backpacking and hiking trail pleasant for hard core backpackers looking for adventure. All the water falling down from the sky makes Cortright Creek Trail a wet location; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow; the driest month of the year is July. Different parts of Cortright Creek Trail are at very different elevations, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. For the period of the days of summer here at Cortright Creek Trail, high temperatures  
generally reach the 60's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 40's. For the period of the wintertime this location gets highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Cortright Creek Trail. There are so many nice hiking and backpacking trails for hiking in Washington, and Cortright Creek Trail is one of them, and it's in Lewis County. Now this hiking trail is pretty long, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. These hiking trails here in the Northern Cascade Range are a fine way to explore these summits. Now, this is roughly a 2-day backcountry hike, so make sure you've got all your overnight gear packed.

Briefly about the general area:
Just can't get enough of the Northern Cascade Range. Log Spring is a charming place to go to while you're at Cortright Creek Trail. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Summit Creek; if you came to camp Knuppenburg Lake Campground is a glorious place to do that.
Cortright Creek Trail beyond doubt is in the middle of a stunning outdoors paradise. Whitewater paddling is pleasant on Cowlitz River - Clear Fork, and a quick tour to Pony Creek is beyond doubt a great idea. A short tour to Fish Ladder Falls is always worthwhile, and it's a good idea to stop by Allred Creek. And that's not all you can do here in the Northern Cascade Range. Cortright Creek Trail is in the neighborhood of Carlton Pass which is unquestionably worth going to. There's so much to do here at Cortright Creek Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Soda Springs Campground is a nice site for that.
A great forest in the neighborhood of Cortright Creek Trail is Gifford Pinchot National Forest, and Cortright Point is not far at all.
