This is a one trailhead hiking trail, so you'll be backcountry hiking it in and back out. Coldwater Trail sees pretty high levels of rain; all through December this region sees the most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Of course, this is an overnight backcountry walk,
1.5 days normally, so make sure you've got all your overnight gear packed.

for you then we recommend Hoffstadt Creek, and Glacier Creek is close to Coldwater Trail and is always a delight to pop by.
So much entertaining stuff to do here in the Northern Cascade Range, too good to be true. Put some time aside to spend at Loowit Falls since you're here
at Coldwater Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Coldwater Trail has to offer, you can camp at Merrill Lake Campground. Do set aside some time for Sugar Bowl while you're here at Coldwater Trail; there are some great whitewater spots on Cowlitz River.

is there a heap of fun things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Soda Spring is a tremendous local attraction, and there's some flowing water close by, Coldwater Creek is a stream you can pop by while here. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff right next door to Coldwater
Trail. You have to without doubt dedicate some time to Elk Prairie since you're here at Coldwater Trail, and Coldwater Trail is a good place to visit for more than one day, Quartz Creek Big Trees Campground is a good place to camp nearby.
