Washington hiking trails - Clutch Trail, Northern Cascade Range, Okanogan County

   
  Clutch Trail is a very long way away from society, and it sure is a a nice backpacking and hiking trail. There are hiking and backpacking trails all over Washington, and one of those is Clutch Trail in Okanogan County. Backcountry trekking here in Washington is the delightful thing to do. Being 8 miles long it's an average length hiking and backpacking trail. Some parts of this hiking and backpacking trail are much higher up than other parts of the hiking and backpacking trail which of course means you need to be prepared for different conditions on
    different parts of the hiking and backpacking trail. This is one of many wilderness hiking trails in the surrounding vicinity. The time needed for this walk is roughly 7 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. Clutch Trail is a normal length backpacking
trail having an average number of uphill miles which makes this wilderness hiking trail good for hard core backpackers looking for adventure. For the duration of the summer months highs here at Clutch Trail reach the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Clutch Trail temperatures descend to the 10's. Clutch Trail is quite long, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. Backcountry hiking here in the Northern Cascade Range is a very good way  
to see these highlands. This part of Washington is always a diversion to stop by during backcountry hiking season. This vicinity does get very dry sometimes, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. Put on your backcountry hiking shoes, and hit the backpacking and hiking trail, if you happen to be in Okanogan County of Washington, Clutch Trail is a nice local backpacking and hiking trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. Clutch Trail has a total elevation difference of 2,056 feet which is about average. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go. Every hiking and backpacking trail in Washington is worth trekking. Clutch Trail is pretty dehydrated usually; December is the month that gets the most snow, and July meanwhile is the driest month. This hiking trail has only one trailhead, so in and out is the way to backcountry trek it normally.

You believe that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. There are some great whitewater spots on Chewuch River, and camping at Iron Gate Campground is always a magnificent experience.
So many cool things to do here in the Northern Cascade Range, too magnificent to be true. Looking for some flowing water? Try Clutch Creek, and everybody loves Pick Pocket. Nearby Horseshoe Pass is a tremendous place to go if you're at Clutch Trail, and Hodges Horse Pasture is right here at Clutch Trail. Getting to Sunny Creek from Clutch Trail is easy, and a great spot to camp here at Clutch Trail is Long Swamp Campground.
