  It's a long tour from Shelton to Clink Trail, but when you walk it you're always having a splendid time. Outdoors people generally like this part of Washington. Hey, time for a walk don’t you think? Clink Trail in Clallam County, Washington is a really pleasant location to spend some time. At Clink Trail you don’t see much rain; the wettest month of the year is regularly December, that's the one that rains the most; July on the other hand is the driest. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. This is a one trailhead great outdoors trail,
    so you're looking at an in and out walk. This is not a very long great outdoors trail but it's always magnificent to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen. Clink Trail has a total elevation difference of 1,670 feet, and that is about average. At parts
of the year this vicinity sees very little rain, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. Hiking trails are brilliant and plentiful in Washington; one of these is Clink Trail in Clallam County. With its 3.6 miles of walking distance it's a shorter type hike. You should count on this trek taking about 3 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. Clink Trail is a very short backpacking and hiking trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a glorious backcountry hiking trail  
for the average person looking for a glorious adventure. Each one of the many backpacking and hiking trails of Washington is wonderful in its own way. This is one of a very small number of backcountry hiking trails in this area. At Clink Trail through the summer months highs are in the 60's. All through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. All through the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Clink Trail. Here in the brilliant state of Washington trekking is the brilliant thing to do. The backpacking and hiking trails of the Olympic Mountains are the best way to enjoy these mountaintops. This great outdoors hiking trail goes through some very different elevations which of course means you need to be prepared for different conditions on different parts of the great outdoors hiking trail.

Briefly about the general area:
So much amusing stuff to do here in the Olympic Mountains, too nice to be true. If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Dungeness River, and Caraco Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth stopping at. If you came for an overnight stay East Crossing Campground is a great spot to camp, and let's not forget Gray Wolf River which is a stream that you may bump into during your stay.
Camping is available at Dungeness Forks Campground.
