Washington hiking trails - Clink Trail, Olympic Mountains, Clallam County

   
  Clink Trail is a hiking trail rather far from Shelton, but what a perfect location for trekking it is. Every single Washington trail is worth backcountry trekking. This hiking trail has only one trailhead, so in and out is the way to hike it normally. Throughout the days of summer highs here at Clink Trail get into the 60's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. Throughout the
    winter highs are in the 40's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Clink Trail descend into the 30's. Being 3.6 miles long it's shorter than many backcountry hiking trails. Here in the magnificent state of Washington backcountry trekking is a brilliant
idea. At parts of the year this region sees very little rain, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. Different parts of this backcountry hiking trail are at very different elevations, and that means that some parts of the backcountry hiking trail could be very different from other parts of it. The scenic backcountry trails of the Olympic Mountains are a perfect way to explore these mountaintops. This part of Washington has a perfect deal of available outdoors endeavors. Clink Trail is not that long but you should still  
bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens. Gotta get out of the city man, and Clink Trail in Clallam County, Washington is a perfect location for getting out. Clink Trail is a very short backcountry trail having an average number of uphill miles which makes this hiking and backpacking trail delightful for the average walker looking for an enjoyable adventure. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in spot. The total elevation difference for this hiking trail is 1,670 feet which is an average number. Clink Trail gets very little precipitation; December is the month that gets the most rain; July is when it's the driest. The number of hiking and backpacking trails in this area is not very high. The time needed for this walk is roughly 3 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster.

If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Olympic Mountains. Why not take a look at nearby Caraco Creek if you're here at Clink Trail; Clink Trail is good enough to spend more than a day at, Dungeness Forks Campground is a good local campground. Gray Wolf River is a delightful stream that is worth checking out, and a great place to camp here at Clink Trail is East Crossing Campground.
