Clink Trail is a one trailhead backcountry hiking trail, so you'll be backcountry trekking it in and back out. Summertime highs at Clink Trail frequently tend to be in the 60's with overnight lows in the 50's. during winter nights. The delightful backcountry trails of the Olympic Mountains are a glorious way to explore these hills. Every Washington hiking trail has something unique to offer. Different parts of this wilderness trail are at very different elevations, so keep in mind that
you may need to dress differently at different elevations. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. With its 3.6 miles of walking distance it's shorter than many wilderness trails. You should count on this walk taking about 3 hours, but you never know stuff could
go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. It is very dehydrated here at Clink Trail usually; the month with most of the rain is December; July is when it's the driest. This is one of a very small number of hiking trails in this area.
Briefly about the general
area: There's so much to do here at Clink Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Dungeness Forks Campground is a good place for that. Some close by water includes Caraco Creek, and if you came to camp East Crossing Campground is a perfect place to do that. Man, is
there a lot of enjoyable stuff to do in the Olympic Mountains. Gray Wolf River is in close proximity to Clink Trail and is always a pleasure to go to, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Dungeness River.
