A lengthy tour separates Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue from Christoff Trail, but what a tremendous place for backpacking it is. Each one of the many hiking and backpacking trails of Washington is worth hiking. This backcountry hiking trail has only one trailhead, so you're looking at an in and out hike. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are generally in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Christoff Trail. the driest month. The number of great outdoors trails in this area is not very high. The charming backcountry trails of the Northern Cascade Range are a really glorious way to spend quality time in the fresh air. This backcountry hiking trail has a total elevation difference of
2,615 feet which is a higher than average number. Even though this is not a very long hiking trail you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens. The time needed for this walk is roughly 3.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you
could get stuck so be prepared for that. Christoff Trail is on the short side having an average number of uphill miles which makes this great outdoors trail good for the average backcountry hiker looking for a cool adventure.
Briefly about the general area: There's so
much to do here at Christoff Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Dry Creek Campground is a pleasant location for that, and there are some glorious whitewater spots on White River. If you adore the outdoors you'll adore it here in the Northern Cascade Range. Slippery Creek
is a good site to explore, and if you come at the right time of year, Greenwater River offers some great whitewater. Greenwater River is a pleasant local stream. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Christoff Trail has to offer, you can camp at The Dalles Campground. A short journey to Mule Spring is always worthwhile.
