Washington has plenty of magnificent wilderness trails; one of them being Canyon Creek Hoh Trail in Clallam County. Now, this is roughly a 4-day backcountry hike, so better have big backpack to fit all the stuff you need. There is only one trailhead, so you're looking at an in and out walk. Sol Duc Falls is an inspiring spot to stop by while you're here, and a pleasant journey to Seven Lakes Basin is a pleasant way to spend an afternoon. Get your heart beating on the delightful whitewater of Hoh River - South Fork, and since you're here at Canyon Creek Hoh Trail it's a delightful idea to go to Bogachiel Park.
If only every site had this much outdoors enjoyable stuff, what a great globe it would be. There's whitewater on Soleduck River - North Fork for all you adrenaline people, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Marymere Falls. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Olympic Mountains. If you're here at Canyon Creek Hoh Trail, do take a tour to Maple Point, and if you came for an overnight stay Soleduck Campground is a nice place to camp. Cougar Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth stopping at.
Just can't get enough of the Olympic Mountains. Mineral Creek is close to Canyon Creek Hoh Trail and is always a delight to explore; Canyon Creek Hoh Trail is not far at all from Port Angeles. Appleton Pass is a good site to explore close by; Hoh Campground is a brilliant campground nearby.
