Keep in mind that this is a long backpacking and hiking trail, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. Camp Creek Ridge Trail has only one trailhead, so you'll be trekking it in and back out. This part of Washington is always a delight to take a look at during backcountry backpacking season. You should count on this backcountry hike taking about 7.5 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. The length of this wilderness hiking trail is about average with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this a very tough wilderness trail for advanced walkers looking for a fine challenge.

Briefly about the general area:
A great spot to camp here at Camp Creek Ridge Trail is Owl Creek Campground, and there are some delightful whitewater spots on Downey Creek.
If you come at the right time of year, Sloan Creek offers some great whitewater, and getting to Fire Creek from Camp Creek Ridge Trail is easy. And if that's not sufficient there's loads more entertaining stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Camping is available at Sloan Creek Campground, and some of the water close by flows, like Pumice Creek.
