This hiking trail goes through some very different elevations which of course means you need to be prepared for different conditions on different parts of the hiking trail. Camp Creek Ridge Trail is very far from the closest great
    settlement, and it sure is a a fine backpacking and hiking trail. The total elevation difference for Camp Creek Ridge Trail is 4,047 feet, and that is higher than average. Camp Creek Ridge Trail is a quite wet place typically with a lot of rain; most of the rain falls throughout
November, and July is the month with the least moisture. This backcountry hike shouldn't take more than 7.5 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. During the warm days of summer here at Camp Creek Ridge Trail, high temperatures mostly get into the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's with temperatures at Camp Creek Ridge Trail dipping down into the 20's all through winter nights. This is a one trailhead backpacking and hiking trail, so in  
and out is the way to trek it normally. With its 9 miles of walking distance it's an average length hiking trail. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in site. Keep in mind that this is a long hiking trail, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. The length of this backcountry trail is about average having an average number of uphill miles which makes this a very tough wilderness trail for advanced backcountry walkers looking for an outstanding challenge. There are so many wilderness trails in this region. Hiking here in the Northern Cascade Range is a very glorious way to see these summits. Wilderness trails for backcountry hiking, and backpacking can be found all over Washington, and one of those is Camp Creek Ridge Trail in Snohomish County.

Fire Creek flows through this region, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Downey Creek. So many cool things in the Northern Cascade Range, just amazing. Why not camp at Sloan Creek Campground if you're here at Camp Creek Ridge Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Sloan Creek offers some wonderful whitewater.
A delightful site to camp here at Camp Creek Ridge Trail is Owl Creek Campground, and let's not forget Pumice Creek which is a stream that you may come across during your stay.
