Washington hiking trails - Bumping Lake Trail, Northern Cascade Range, Yakima County

   
  Bumping Lake Trail is a backcountry trail relatively far from Ellensburg, but when you spend some time trekking here you will feel like a whole new person. Hitting the backcountry trails is always an exciting thing to do, and Bumping Lake Trail in Yakima County, Washington is the wilderness at its best. There are many delightful trails in Washington; Bumping Lake Trail in Yakima County is one of them. Bumping Lake Trail has a total elevation difference of 792 feet, and that is lower than average. Backpacking in Washington is always an enjoyable thing
    to do. Backpacking here in the Northern Cascade Range is the best way to enjoy these mountains. There is only one trailhead, so you're looking at an in and out backcountry walk. With its 18.2 miles of walking distance; it's longer than many great outdoors trails. There's not much
difference in elevation along the great outdoors trail, so you get pretty much the same conditions along the whole great outdoors trail. No chance of getting bored in Washington if you like nature. Through the long summer days, highs mostly are in the 70's at Bumping Lake Trail. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 40's. All through the wintertime highs are regularly in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Bumping Lake Trail. The high level of rain makes Bumping Lake Trail a reasonably wet place; January is the wettest month with  
most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. Every single Washington trail is stunning in its own way. Now this hiking and backpacking trail is pretty long, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. This backcountry walk should take you about 2.5 days, so better have big backpack to fit all the stuff you need. Bumping Lake Trail is a very long backcountry hiking trail having an average number of uphill miles which makes it an outstanding hiking trail for experienced hikers in good shape. This is one of many hiking trails in the surrounding area.

Briefly about the general area:
If only every place had this much outdoors exciting stuff, what a great globe it would be. Do set aside some time for Big Basin since you're here at Bumping Lake Trail, and Mosquito Valley is undeniably a good site to stop by.
And that's not all there is to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. Log Spring is a good local attraction, and Gifford Pinchot National Forest is a perfect forest neighborhood close by. Just can't get enough of the Northern Cascade Range. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Bumping River, and float down the rapids of American River in a kayak. Bumping Lake Trail is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Lodgepole Campground is a wonderful local campground, and do put some time aside to spend at Union Creek Falls while you're here at Bumping Lake Trail.
Some nearby water includes Cougar Creek. There's so much to do here at Bumping Lake Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Bumping Lake - Wenatchee National Forest is a great site for that. While you're here at Bumping Lake Trail it's a nice idea to explore Blankenship Meadows, and why not take a little spree to Red Rock Creek if you're here.
