This is one of many hiking trails in the surrounding neighborhood. All the water falling down from the sky makes Bumping Lake Trail a wet spot; the month with most of the rain is January, and July on
    the other hand is the driest. With its 18.2 miles of walking distance; it's longer than many backcountry hiking trails. Bumping Lake Trail has a total elevation difference of 792 feet, and that is lower than average. Bumping Lake Trail is quite long, so do pack enough food to last
the whole trip. Bumping Lake Trail has only one trailhead, so you're looking at an in and out backcountry trek. In Washington you never run out of outdoors fun. Ok, you've been cooped up too long, time to get out in nature a bit, and Bumping Lake Trail in Yakima County, Washington is a brilliant place to go. Summertime highs at Bumping Lake Trail commonly tend to be in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 40's. Briefly about the general area:
So much enjoyable stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range, not sufficient time. Gifford Pinchot National Forest is a forest right next door to Bumping Lake Trail that you can go to, and camping at Lodgepole Campground is always a wonderful experience. This river is so perfect.
There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Northern Cascade Range. Everybody loves Big Basin, and a quick tour to Red Rock Creek is positively a great idea. It's a good idea to check out Cougar Creek, it's near Bumping Lake Trail, and Blankenship Meadows is right here at Bumping Lake Trail. Log Spring is a beautiful location to pop by while you're at Bumping Lake Trail, and Bumping River has a fine whitewater paddling spot close by.
The surroundings of this river have so much to offer. Union Creek Falls is always fun to check out; in case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on American River. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Bumping Lake Trail. Near Bumping Lake Trail you discover Mosquito Valley which is a magnificent place to take a look at, and if you came to camp Bumping Lake - Wenatchee National Forest is a pleasant place to do that.
