Bumping Lake Trail is 18.2 miles long; it's considered a longer backcountry trek. At Bumping Lake Trail through the summertime months highs are in the 70's with night lows in the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Bumping Lake Trail are in the 20's. There are plenty of backcountry trails in Washington; each one of them has something unique to offer.

Briefly about the general area:
All year is a magnificent time in the Northern Cascade Range if you go for the outdoors. Bumping Lake Trail is good enough to spend more than a day at, Lodgepole Campground is a good local campground, and you should unquestionably dedicate some time to Blankenship Meadows if you're here at Bumping Lake Trail. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Bumping River. There's so much to do here at Bumping Lake Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Bumping Lake - Wenatchee National Forest is a nice spot for that.
Man, is there plenty of fun stuff to do in close proximity to Bumping Lake Trail. Get covered with water paddling on American River; Bumping Lake Trail is near Mosquito Valley which is definitely worth stopping at. Some pleasant nature is available in Gifford Pinchot National Forest, and since you're here, you could take a look at Cougar Creek.
Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things in the Northern Cascade Range. A short spree to Log Spring is always worthwhile, and a quick journey to Red Rock Creek is absolutely a wonderful idea. Union Creek Falls is a picturesque place to stop by while you're at Bumping Lake Trail; a magnificent place like Big Basin here at Bumping Lake Trail is too good to miss.
