of course, mostly in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Boundary Trail temperatures dip to the 10's. There are two trailheads to chose from, one in each end, so hiking it one way is an option if you can arrange
for a ride back.
Briefly about the general area: Man, is there loads of amusing stuff to do close to Boundary Trail. Ballard Campground is a great local campground, and you are in the neighborhood of Diamond Point if you're here. A tour to Monument Spring will fill your
spirit with pleasant feelings; you should absolutely dedicate some time to Sunset Meadow since you're here at Boundary Trail. Dean Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth visiting, and a delightful site is Deception Pass. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining
stuff in the Northern Cascade Range. In the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Methow River. All year is a delightful time in the Northern Cascade Range if you like the outdoors. Lost River is a nice whitewater spot near Boundary
Trail; a good place like Whistler Basin here at Boundary Trail is too tremendous to miss. Gate Creek Campground is a great campground nearby, and there's some flowing water nearby, Snowslide Creek is a stream you can pop by while here.
