Mountains is the best way to enjoy these highlands. The high level of precipitation makes Bogachiel Trail a relatively wet place; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain while July is usually the driest month. Being 54 miles long; it's a long backcountry
trail. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. Now, this is roughly a 7.5-day backcountry hike, so better have big backpack to fit all the stuff you need.

you can explore during your stay, and the good folks of Port Angeles like to hang out nearby. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff at Bogachiel Trail. Camping is available at Huelsdonk Campground; do set aside some time for Bogachiel Park while you're
here at Bogachiel Trail. A short journey to Sams Rapids is always worthwhile, and a pleasant journey to Beaver Prairie is a good way to spend an afternoon. Crooks Rapids is an inspiring site to go to while here, and if you came for an overnight stay Klahowa Campground is a great
location to camp. Bee Creek is in the neighborhood of Bogachiel Trail and is always a diversion to have a look at, and Grindstone Pass is in the vicinity, and is a glorious site. This site, the Olympic Mountains, has so much outdoors amusing stuff. Soar down the rapids of Soleduck
River in a kayak, and you don't have to go far to enjoy Soleduck Ranger District. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Olympic Mountains. Get covered with water paddling on Hoh River, and taking a little spree to close by Butler Cove is a magnificent idea.
