Washington hiking trails - Bogachiel Trail, Olympic Mountains, Clallam County

   
  Bogachiel Trail is to be found a quite lengthy drive from Port Angeles, but it is a great refuge from the town. If you happen to be in Washington, why not go backcountry backpacking, it is always an amusing thing to do. Washington is a tremendous outdoors state. This is a region covered with lots of hiking trails. Can’t wait to get out in nature, Bogachiel Trail in Clallam County, Washington is just the site. Bogachiel Trail has two trailheads, so backcountry backpacking it one way is an option if you can arrange for a ride back. For the duration of the
    warmest time of the year at Bogachiel Trail temperatures are frequently in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 40's. Highs through the wintertime are mostly in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Bogachiel Trail. With its 54 miles of walking
distance; it's considered a longer walk. Some parts of this backcountry trail are much higher up than other parts of the backcountry trail, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. Bogachiel Trail has a total elevation difference of 4,321 feet which is higher than average. This hiking and backpacking trail is a hiking and backpacking trail of great length having an average number of uphill miles which makes this hiking trail perfect for hard core backpackers looking for adventure. Now, this is roughly a 7.5-day  
walk, so it's an excellent thing if your backpack is big enough to do the job. There are numerous backcountry trails in Washington, and each one is well worth a backcountry walk. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. Bogachiel Trail is a wet place that gets much rain; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. Wilderness hiking trails are perfect and plentiful in Washington; one of these is Bogachiel Trail in Clallam County. Bogachiel Trail is quite long, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. The hiking and backpacking trails of the Olympic Mountains are a very great way to see these mountaintops.

Briefly about the general area:
Brandeberry Creek is a gorgeous stream that is worth stopping at, and a short visit to Sams Rapids is always worthwhile. So many entertaining things to do in the Olympic Mountains, not sufficient time. Don't forget to take a fine little trip to Bee Creek, and camping is available at Huelsdonk Campground.
A perfect location right next door to Bogachiel Trail is Grindstone Pass, and if you came for an overnight stay Klahowa Campground is a tremendous spot to camp. Man, is there lots of fun stuff to do near Bogachiel Trail. You must unquestionably dedicate some time to Bogachiel Park since you're here at Bogachiel Trail, and Butler Cove is not far at all.
There's no way someone can get bored here in the Olympic Mountains. A trip to Bogachiel Trail wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Crooks Rapids, and there are plenty of folks from Port Angeles here. Take some time to stop at Soleduck Ranger District since you're here, and if you come at the right time of year, Soleduck River offers some delightful whitewater. While you're here at Bogachiel Trail it's a great idea to stop at Beaver Prairie, and soar down the rapids of Hoh River in a kayak.
