At Bodie Mountain Trail during the warm months highs are in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are mostly in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Bodie Mountain Trail drop into the 10's. The length of Bodie Mountain Trail is about average with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a splendid backcountry trail for the average person looking for a splendid adventure.

You'll need more than a day to look at everything Bodie Mountain Trail has to offer, you can camp at Beaver Lake Campground, and do put some time aside to spend at Bodie Spring if you're here at Bodie Mountain Trail.
Stay the night at Sweat Creek Campground.
