so you get pretty much the same conditions along the whole backcountry trail. Summer at Bodie Mountain Trail arrives with high temperatures in the 80's; the nighttime is fairly chillier of course, usually in the 40's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Bodie Mountain Trail. The length of Bodie Mountain Trail is about average having an average number of uphill miles which makes this backpacking trail wonderful for the average hiker looking for an enjoyable adventure. does get very dry sometimes, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. Spending too much time indoors got you down? Bodie Mountain Trail is a location that is rather dehydrated usually; December is the wettest month with most snow while October is usually the driest month. Being 5 miles long it's an average length backcountry trail. You should count on this backcountry hike taking about 4.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. If you came to camp Beaver Lake Campground is a pleasant place to do that, and do put some time aside to spend at Cargo Spring since you're here at Bodie Mountain Trail.
There's so much to do here at Bodie Mountain Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Sweat Creek Campground is a tremendous spot for that.
