time when you're trekking along it. Bluff Lake Trail is generally a reasonably dehydrated place; December is the month that gets the most snow; July is when it's the driest. This is a one trailhead backpacking and hiking trail, so in and out is the way to backcountry walk it normally.

Briefly about the general area: The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Wray Spring, and while you're here why not stop at Burns Canyon. This place, the Northern Cascade Range, has so much outdoors cool things. Bluff Lake Trail is a great place to visit
for more than one day, Loup Loup Campground is a great place to camp nearby, and a pleasant tour to Beaver Meadow is a perfect way to spend an afternoon. Blue Buck Creek is near Bluff Lake Trail and is always a pleasure to take a look at; Coffin Spring is an inspiring place
to visit while you're here. So many enjoyable things to do in the Northern Cascade Range, not enough time. Cougar Flat is a scenic place any time of year. If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Bluff Lake Trail. Take a little tour to Lightning
Creek since you're here at Bluff Lake Trail, and Chewuch River is a great whitewater spot close by. Davis Lake Campground is a nice local campground; if you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Chewuch River.
