having an average number of uphill miles which makes this hiking trail delightful for hard core backpackers looking for adventure. With its 16.2 miles of walking distance; it's considered a longer backcountry hike. This trail goes through some very different elevations which of
course means you need to be prepared for different conditions on different parts of the trail.
Briefly about the general area: All the outdoors exciting stuff in the Northern Cascade Range will keep you coming back repeatedly. In case you don’t have a problem getting
soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little Naches River, and do pop by Jim Creek while you're here at Big Creek Trail. Timothy Meadow is a tremendous place to check out, and Tacoma Pass is another great place to check out nearby. This spot rules, just explore all
the amusing stuff to do right next door to Big Creek Trail. American River has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot close by. R V Town is a nice local campground, and a trip to Mathew Meadow invigorates the soul. If you came for an overnight stay Lake Easton Resort and Club is a pleasant place to camp; don't forget to take a good little journey to Cole Creek.
