selection. Bear Creek Trail is a wet spot that gets a large amount of precipitation; most of the rain falls all through January; the driest month is July. At Bear Creek Trail throughout the summer highs are in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. For the duration
| | of the winter highs are ordinarily in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Bear Creek Trail. Backcountry hiking here in the Northern Cascade Range is a really magnificent way to spend quality time in the fresh air. With its 4 miles of walking distance it's a mid length walk. You should count on this backcountry trek taking about 3.5 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. Camping at Bear Creek Trail is magnificent fun, Crystal Springs Campground is a magnificent local campground; why not camp at Hells Crossing Campground while you're here at Bear Creek Trail.
