Washington hiking trails - Bear Creek Trail, Northern Cascade Range, Kittitas County       There are so many great backpacking and hiking trails for backcountry trekking in Washington, and among these are Bear Creek Trail in Kittitas County. Outdoors folks generally like this part of Washington. Here in the great state of Washington backcountry trekking is something that is always fun to do. This is a two-ended backpacking and hiking trail with two trailheads, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can walk it just one way. Hey, time for a backcountry trek don’t you think? Bear Creek Trail in Kittitas County, Washington is an excellent     selection. Bear Creek Trail is a wet spot that gets a large amount of precipitation; most of the rain falls all through January; the driest month is July. At Bear Creek Trail throughout the summer highs are in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are ordinarily in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Bear Creek Trail. Backcountry hiking here in the Northern Cascade Range is a really magnificent way to spend quality time in the fresh air. With its 4 miles of walking distance it's a mid length walk. You should count on this backcountry trek taking about 3.5 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. Even though this is not a very long backcountry trail it's always nice to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could   happen. This is one of many wilderness trails in the surrounding vicinity. Bear Creek Trail stays roughly within the same elevation zone the whole time, so you get pretty much the same conditions along the whole wilderness trail. A long drive separates Ellensburg from Bear Creek Trail, but backcountry hiking it is brilliant enjoyment any time. Every single Washington backpacking and hiking trail has its own character. This backpacking and hiking trail has a total elevation difference of 1,374 feet which is about average. Bear Creek Trail is a normal length hiking trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this wilderness trail great for the average walker looking for an amusing adventure. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in spot. Briefly about the general area: American River is a perfect whitewater spot right next door to Bear Creek Trail, and Green Pass is a great spot to spend some time. And that's not all the things to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. Camping at Bear Creek Trail is magnificent fun, Crystal Springs Campground is a magnificent local campground; why not camp at Hells Crossing Campground while you're here at Bear Creek Trail.
