During the summertime months, highs regularly are in the 70's at Bean Creek Trail, and the overnight is a tad colder of course, usually in the 40's. With its 14.8 miles of walking distance; it's a long wilderness hiking trail. This is a backcountry trail that is quite long, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. Ok, you've been cooped up too long, time to get out in the wilderness a bit, and Bean Creek Trail in Skamania County, Washington is a splendid pick.

Briefly about the general area:
This location, the Northern Cascade Range, has so much outdoors exciting things. A journey to Bean Creek Trail wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Harmony Falls; if you came to camp Quartz Creek Big Trees Campground is a fine site to do that. Lots of fun awaits you along this river.
Take a side journey to Bean Creek, and a perfect location for whitewater paddling is Muddy River. So many enjoyable things to do in the Northern Cascade Range, not enough time. Bean Creek Trail is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Swift Forest Campground is a tremendous local campground, and close by Lava Canyon is a great spot to go. And that's not all you can do here at Bean Creek Trail. Do set aside some time for Plains of Abraham while you're here at Bean Creek Trail, and don't forget to explore Duck Bay if you're here.
Smith Creek is a lovely stream that is worth stopping at; Lewis River - North Fork is a glorious whitewater spot nearby. This river is so great. You must without doubt dedicate some time to Bear Meadow since you're here at Bean Creek Trail; a short trip to Paradise Falls is always worthwhile.
