Washington hiking trails - Antoine Trail, Okanogan County

   
  Washington is an excellent place for outdoors people. There are plenty of backpacking and hiking trails in Washington; each one of them is well worth a walk. Washington has plenty of tremendous backpacking and hiking trails, and Antoine Trail in Okanogan County is one of them. Now, this is roughly a 2.5-day walk, so better have big backpack to fit all the stuff you need. There are so many great outdoors trails in this region. The total elevation difference for Antoine Trail is 3,014 feet, and that is higher than average. The length of this wilderness
    hiking trail is on the longer side with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this great outdoors trail glorious for hard core backpackers looking for adventure. Now this hiking and backpacking trail is pretty long, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. Some
parts of Antoine Trail are much higher up than other parts of the wilderness trail which of course means you need to be prepared for different conditions on different parts of the wilderness trail. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in place. Many miles from the nearest town you have Antoine Trail, and when you spend some time hiking here you will feel like a whole new person. At Antoine Trail you don’t see much precipitation; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most snow, and July on the other hand  
is the driest. If you happen to be in Washington, why not go backpacking, it is the tremendous thing to do. Antoine Trail is a two ended hiking and backpacking trail with two trailheads, so hiking it one way is an option if you can arrange for a ride back. Antoine Trail is 15 miles long; it's a long wilderness trail. Through the warmest time of the year at Antoine Trail temperatures are typically in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Antoine Trail. We all need to get out in the outdoors once in a while, and Antoine Trail in Okanogan County, Washington is a wonderful location for getting out. At parts of the year this region sees very little rain, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out.

Briefly about the general area:
Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in close proximity to Antoine Trail. Bigham Flat is a perfect place, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Owl Spring.
A river like this is too good to miss. A tour to Antoine Trail wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Lightning Spring, and you could always discover Eden Valley. If you came to camp North Country Christian Camp is a good site to do that, and let's not forget Mill Creek which is a stream that you may encounter during your stay. There's so much to do here at Antoine Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Lost Lake Campground is a great place for that; needless to say East Fork Myers Creek flows through this vicinity.
