difference of 930 feet which is lower than average. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in place. Angel Pass Trail is 2.6 miles long it's a shorter type walk. Angel Pass Trail stays roughly within the same elevation zone the whole time, so you won’t
have to worry about different climate zones along your walk. This region does get very dry sometimes, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. At Angel Pass Trail through the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's.
When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 40's. During the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 20's with temperatures at Angel Pass Trail dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. This is not a very long great outdoors trail but you should still bring some
emergency supplies just in case something happens.
Briefly about the general area:
Having a tremendous time in the Northern Cascade Range is simple. Camping is available at Salmon Meadows Campground, and since you're here, you might as well explore Angel Pass. A pleasant
tour to Salmon Meadows is a nice way to spend an afternoon, and unsurprisingly Mutton Creek is a stunning stream that is worth a visit.
This is a really good river. Why not camp at Alder Campground while you're here at Angel Pass Trail.
