Washington hiking trails - American Ridge Trail, Northern Cascade Range, Yakima County

   
  Gotta get out of the city man, and American Ridge Trail in Yakima County, Washington is a fine site for getting out. Here in the perfect state of Washington backpacking is a perfect idea. Each backpacking and hiking trail in Washington is worth backpacking. As long as you like the wilderness you will like Washington. The length of American Ridge Trail is on the longer side having an average number of uphill miles which makes this a very tough hiking trail for advanced walkers looking for a brilliant challenge. This is just one of a large number of hiking
    trails in this neighborhood. Much rain falls at American Ridge Trail; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain; July is the month with the least moisture. This backcountry walk should take you about 9.5 days, so make sure you've got all your overnight gear packed.
American Ridge Trail is a long tour away from Ellensburg, but if you're looking for a fine site to go trekking, this is a fine selection. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in place. This backpacking trail has two trailheads which means you have the option of trekking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end. Summertime at American Ridge Trail arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. Highs during the winter are generally in the 30's with winter lows  
in the 20's overnight here at American Ridge Trail. Different parts of this wilderness hiking trail are at very different elevations, and that means that some parts of the wilderness hiking trail could be very different from other parts of it. Trails are perfect and plentiful in Washington; American Ridge Trail in Yakima County is one of them. With its 62 miles of walking distance; it's considered a longer hike. American Ridge Trail is quite long, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. The pretty backcountry trails of the Northern Cascade Range are a very great way to see these highlands. The total elevation difference for American Ridge Trail is 4,759 feet which is higher than average.

Briefly about the general area:
Soda Springs is a striking spot to stop by while you're at American Ridge Trail, and close by you stumble on Cortright Point. Big Basin is a magnificent place to check out; American River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby.
Little Crow Basin is a tremendous place; American Ridge Trail is in close proximity to Pleasant Valley which is beyond doubt worth taking a look at. And that's not all you can do here at American Ridge Trail. You don't must go far from American Ridge Trail to enjoy Gifford Pinchot National Forest, and paddling on Bumping River is so much fun. So many cool things to do in the Northern Cascade Range, not enough time. If you're here at American Ridge Trail, you could have a look at Deep Creek. There's so much to do here at American Ridge Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Pleasant Valley Campground is a brilliant location for that.
This place, the Northern Cascade Range, has so much outdoors fun things. Union Creek Falls is always fun to check out, and it's a great idea to pop by Boulder Creek. If you came to camp Lodgepole Campground is a great location to do that.
