and Zigzag Trail is not far at all from Hood River. A trip to Cooks Meadow rejuvenates the spirit, and drift down the rapids of Hood River - East Fork in a kayak. Just can't get enough of the Central Cascade Range. Zigzag Trail is a perfect location to camp, Clinger Campground
is a perfect location.
This is such a wonderful river. Take a little trip to Polallie Creek if you're here at Zigzag Trail, and do put some time aside to spend at Powder Springs while you're here at Zigzag Trail.
