This neighborhood does get very dry sometimes, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. The length of this backcountry trail is about average with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a brilliant backcountry trail for experienced walkers in magnificent shape. And keep in mind that
    there could be temporary safety restrictions in site. Windy Lakes Trail is 8 miles long it's a mid length trek. There's not much difference in elevation along the backcountry hiking trail, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your trek. This is a backpacking
and hiking trail that is quite long, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. There are many glorious wilderness hiking trails in Oregon, and Windy Lakes Trail in Klamath County is one of them. For the duration of the warm days of summer at Windy Lakes Trail highs are typically in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are ordinarily in the 40's with temperatures at Windy Lakes Trail dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. Windy Lakes Trail has only one trailhead, so you'll be backcountry  
trekking it in and back out. This is one of many backcountry trails in the surrounding vicinity. This backpacking and hiking trail has a total elevation difference of 1,381 feet which is about average. Gotta get out of the town man, and Windy Lakes Trail in Klamath County, Oregon is a splendid location for getting out. There are plenty of wilderness hiking trails in Oregon; each one of them is worth backcountry trekking. Windy Lakes Trail is a quite wet spot ordinarily with a great deal of precipitation; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month is July. This trek shouldn't take more than 7 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. The pretty backcountry trails of the Central Cascade Range are a really perfect way to spend quality time in the great outdoors.
