  Great outdoors trails are glorious and plentiful in Oregon, and one of those is Wind Creek Trail in Clackamas County. Oregon is a splendid spot for outdoors people. Each backcountry hiking trail in Oregon is delightful in its own way. There is only one trailhead, so in and out is the way to backcountry hike it normally. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Wind Creek Trail, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 30's for Wind Creek Trail. This backpacking and hiking trail
    sometimes gets very dry, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. This trail goes through some very different elevations, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. This walk shouldn't
take more than 4 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. The total elevation difference for this great outdoors hiking trail is 1,702 feet which is about average. This is just one of a large number of wilderness hiking trails in this vicinity. Here in the glorious state of Oregon backcountry hiking is always an enjoyable thing to do. This backpacking and hiking trail is not that long but you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens. Please follow all local rules about  
fires and camping. Wind Creek Trail is a mid-length hiking trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a perfect wilderness hiking trail for the average person looking for a perfect adventure. Wind Creek Trail is a reasonably wet location generally with a good deal of precipitation; December is the wettest month with most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. A long journey separates Hood River from Wind Creek Trail, but you always have a perfect time when you're trekking along it. Backpacking here in the Central Cascade Range is a really tremendous way to spend quality time in the fresh air. You can't spend all your time indoors you need to get out once in a while, and Wind Creek Trail in Clackamas County, Oregon is just the place. Wind Creek Trail is 4.8 miles long it's an average length trail.

The great people of Hood River like to hang out close by, and a short spree to Yocum Falls is always worthwhile. In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Zigzag River, and close by Little Zigzag Canyon is a fine place to go.
A delightful location for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Wind Creek Trail is Sandy River, and Lady Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth visiting. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things in the Central Cascade Range. A pleasant visit to Wind Creek Basin is a magnificent way to spend an afternoon, and camping is available at Barlow Campground. So much enjoyable stuff next to Wind Creek Trail, simply phenomenal. Why not camp at Twin Bridges Campground while you're here at Wind Creek Trail.
