  Trekking here in Oregon is an excellent idea. There are many glorious great outdoors hiking trails in Oregon; one of them being Wind Creek Trail in Clackamas County. Every Oregon great outdoors hiking trail has its own unique loveliness. The high level of precipitation makes Wind Creek Trail a reasonably wet place; December is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is July. Wind Creek Trail goes through some very different elevations, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. This is just one of a large
    number of wilderness hiking trails in this region. This hiking trail has a total elevation difference of 1,702 feet, and that is about average. The time needed for this trek is roughly 4 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. Even though this
is not a very long wilderness hiking trail you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens. A visit to Oregon is not complete without some hiking. You'll have to go far from Hood River to get to Wind Creek Trail, but it is a tremendous wilderness hiking trail. With its 4.8 miles of walking distance it's a mid length backcountry hike. This is a one trailhead hiking trail, so in and out is the way to hike it normally. These great outdoors hiking trails here in the Central Cascade Range are a very great way to see these peaks. Ok,  
you've been cooped up too long, time to get out in the fresh air a bit, and Wind Creek Trail in Clackamas County, Oregon is a tremendous location for getting out. All through the summertime at Wind Creek Trail highs are regularly in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Wind Creek Trail. The length of Wind Creek Trail is about average with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a great wilderness hiking trail for the average person looking for a great adventure. Sometimes this wilderness hiking trail gets really dry, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in place.

During your visit to Wind Creek Trail you'll meet some people from Hood River for sure, and everyone loves Wind Creek Basin. Wind Creek Trail is good enough to spend more than a day at, Twin Bridges Campground is a good local campground; Yocum Falls is an inspiring location to check out while here.
All year is a pleasant time in the Central Cascade Range if you like the outdoors. Take a side visit to Lady Creek; there's whitewater on Sandy River for all you thrill seekers. There's so much to do here at Wind Creek Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Barlow Campground is a pleasant site for that, and close by Little Zigzag Canyon is a perfect site to go. You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Zigzag River.
