Oregon hiking trails - Wilson Cove Trail, Central Cascade Range, Wasco County

   
  Wilson Cove Trail is not very close to Hood River at all, but it is one of many pleasant backpacking and hiking trails in this neighborhood. If you happen to be in Oregon, why not go backpacking, it is the great thing to do. There are numerous great outdoors trails in Oregon, and each one is well worth a backcountry walk. Summertime at Wilson Cove Trail comes with high temperatures in the 60's while night lows are mostly in the 40's. During the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Wilson Cove Trail.
    These backpacking and hiking trails here in the Central Cascade Range are an excellent way to explore these mountains. In Oregon you never run out of outdoors fun. Wilson Cove Trail mostly gets a great deal of rain; December is the month that gets the most snow, and the driest
month of the year is July. Oregon has plenty of great great outdoors trails, and Wilson Cove Trail is one of them, and it's in Wasco County. The time needed for this walk is roughly 8 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. This backcountry trail has two trailheads, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can hike it just one way. Wilson Cove Trail is 9 miles long it's a mid length backcountry hike. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go. There are so many great outdoors trails in  
this region. This is a hiking trail that is quite long, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. Wilson Cove Trail has a total elevation difference of 769 feet which is lower than average. This backpacking and hiking trail is a normal length backpacking and hiking trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this a very tough great outdoors trail for advanced backcountry walkers looking for a great challenge. When was the last time you got out in the fresh air a bit? Wilson Cove Trail in Wasco County, Oregon is a tremendous location to go. There's not much difference in elevation along Wilson Cove Trail which means the conditions are about the same from start to finish.

Briefly about the general area:
A quick trip to Cedar Swamp Creek close to Wilson Cove Trail is a nice idea. There's so much to do here at Wilson Cove Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Dam Campground is a great site for that. Man, is there a lot of cool stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range. If you come at the right time of year, White River offers some good whitewater, and you're sure to run into some smiling folks from Hood River here.
Stay the night at Lower Twin Campground; Cold Spring is a glorious local attraction. All the outdoors fun things near Wilson Cove Trail will keep you coming back persistently. Red Wolf Pass is a glorious site to stop by in the vicinity of Wilson Cove Trail. Put some time aside to spend at Deadman Spring since you're here at Wilson Cove Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit White River.
