Oregon hiking trails - White Rock Trail, Southern Cascade Range, Douglas County

   
  Backpacking in Oregon is so much fun. Backpacking in Oregon is such a nice thing to do. White Rock Trail is a long trip away from Roseburg, but when you spend some time trekking here you will feel like a whole new person. Different parts of this trail are at very different elevations, and that means that some parts of the trail could be very different from other parts of it. There are many good hiking trails in Oregon, and White Rock Trail in Douglas County is one of them. This wilderness trail has a total elevation difference of 1,871 feet which is an average
    number. Even though this is not a very long trail you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens. This region does get very dry sometimes, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. There are not too many backpacking
and hiking trails in this area. The hiking trails of the Southern Cascade Range are the best way to enjoy these highlands. Summertime highs at White Rock Trail usually tend to be in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are usually in the 40's while the cold winter nights at White Rock Trail are in the 30's. The time needed for this backcountry walk is roughly 5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. White Rock Trail is a normal length  
hiking trail having an average number of uphill miles which makes it a great backpacking and hiking trail for the average person looking for a great adventure. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go. There are two trailheads to chose from, one in each end, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can walk it just one way. White Rock Trail gets a common amount of yearly rain; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and July is when it's the driest. There are plenty of hiking trails in Oregon; each one of them is well worth a hike. Time to get out, and breathe some fresh air, and White Rock Trail in Douglas County, Oregon is such a tremendous location. With its 5.4 miles of walking distance it's an average length trail.

There's some flowing water close by, Curtin Creek is a stream you can take a look at during your stay; a spree to White Rock Springs will fill your spirit with perfect feelings. This site, the Southern Cascade Range, has so much outdoors amusing stuff. Johnson Creek is in close proximity to White Rock Trail and is always a delight to stop by, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Yellow Jacket Spring.
White Rock Trail is a tremendous spot to visit for more than one day, Shadow Falls Campground is a tremendous spot to camp nearby. A delightful place for whitewater paddling near White Rock Trail is Umpqua River - South; you can stay the night at Tiller Ranger District.
