  Hey, time for a trek don’t you think? West Eagle Trail in Baker County, Oregon is the wilderness at its best. This part of Oregon is always a bliss to go to during backcountry trekking season. There are numerous trails in Oregon, and each one has its own unique prettiness. You should count on this walk taking about 4.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. This hiking trail has a total elevation difference of 554 feet which is lower than average.
    West Eagle Trail gets very little precipitation; during May this vicinity sees the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. If you happen to be in Oregon, why not go backcountry trekking, it is so much fun. Wilderness hiking trails for backcountry trekking, and
backpacking can be found all over Oregon; among these are West Eagle Trail in Baker County. West Eagle Trail is a mid-length hiking trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this wilderness hiking trail pleasant for the average backcountry trekker looking for an amusing adventure. West Eagle Trail has two trailheads which means you have the option of backpacking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end. This is one of a very small number of wilderness hiking trails in this neighborhood. This is not a very long  
wilderness hiking trail but you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens. A lengthy trip parts La Grande from West Eagle Trail, but backcountry backpacking it is always fun. These hiking trails here in the Wallowa Mountains are the best way to enjoy these peaks. With its 5.2 miles of walking distance it's an average length hiking trail. At parts of the year this vicinity sees very little rain, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. At West Eagle Trail all through the months of summer highs are in the 80's, and the nighttime is a tad cooler of course, commonly in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to West Eagle Trail. There's not much difference in elevation along the hiking trail, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your backcountry walk.

Camping is available at Main Eagle Bridge Campground, and West Eagle Meadow is a beautiful place any time of year.
If you're here at West Eagle Trail, you could take a look at Grove Creek, and Universal Spring is always fun to check out. Having a great time in the Wallowa Mountains is painless. It's a perfect idea to have a look at Jim Creek, it's near West Eagle Trail; if you came for an overnight stay Hells Canyon Packers is a nice site to camp.
