Welcome Lakes Trail is many miles long having an average number of uphill miles which makes this great outdoors trail good for hard core backpackers looking for adventure. Lakes Trail has a total elevation difference of 3,795 feet, and that is higher than average. Quite far from Hood River you locate Welcome Lakes Trail, but it's one of those sites where hiking is fine. Every single Oregon backcountry trail is well worth a backcountry hike. You can't
spend all your time indoors you need to get out once in a while, and Welcome Lakes Trail in Marion County, Oregon is a tremendous site to go. This is a long wilderness hiking trail, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. Summertime highs at Welcome Lakes Trail usually tend
to be in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 30's for Welcome Lakes Trail.
Briefly about the general area: Beachie Saddle
is a splendid site to have a look at right next door to Welcome Lakes Trail, and there's some flowing water close by, Battle Creek is a stream you can check out while you're here. So much amusing stuff to do here in the Central Cascade Range, too great to be true. Terrace Spring
is always fun to check out; obviously Welcome Creek flows through this region. This river is a great place to visit. Pegleg Falls is a gorgeous place to visit while you're at Welcome Lakes Trail, and get your heart pumping on the perfect whitewater of Collawash River. All year
is a wonderful time in the Central Cascade Range if you like the outdoors. B and B Rentals is a tremendous campground here. Any time is a pleasant time at Welcome Lakes Trail if you go for the outdoors. If you came for an overnight stay Skookum Lake Campground is a good site to
camp; you should undeniably dedicate some time to Pansy Basin if you're here at Welcome Lakes Trail. Do set aside some time for Toma Meadow while you're here at Welcome Lakes Trail, and a pleasant place for whitewater paddling is Collawash River.
