Trail temperatures are mostly in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 30's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Welch Creek Trail. You should count on this walk taking about 2.5 hours, but of course some folks walk
a bit slower and some a bit faster. Welch Creek Trail is ordinarily a reasonably dry place; through November this area sees the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. The hiking and backpacking trails of the Blue Mountains are a very brilliant

camping is available at Lehman Hot Springs. A brilliant place to camp here at Welch Creek Trail is Trough Creek Campground; do put some time aside to spend at Kelsay Spring while you're here at Welch Creek Trail.
