don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. There's not much difference in elevation along the hiking trail, so you get pretty much the same conditions along the whole hiking trail.
Briefly about the general area: Whohoo, so much exciting
stuff in one place! The Wallowa Mountains is great! If you came to camp Wallowa Valley Stay and wash is a good spot to do that It's always great to visit Goat Mountain Spring. Miner Basin Creek flows through this area, and Monument Point is nearby and always good to have a look
at. There's some flowing water close by, Granite Creek is a stream you can go to while here, and places like Miner Basin are great to go to. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool stuff the Wallowa Mountains has to offer. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin'
a good time here at Washboard Trail. Put some time aside to spend at Minam Falls if you're here at Washboard Trail; Corral Basin is a great site to stretch your legs a bit. There's so much to do here at Washboard Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Goebel's is a nice place for that; since you're here, you might as well pop by Sturgil Saddle.
