  Wall Creek Trail is very far from the most adjacent large city, and backcountry trekking along this trail is very amusing. Alright, enough of spending all this time inside a building, time to get out, and Wall Creek Trail in Grant County, Oregon is a brilliant location for getting out. Oregon is a tremendous place for backcountry hikers. Trekking here in Oregon is an excellent idea. This backcountry trail is not that long but it's always tremendous to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen. This walk shouldn't take more than 5 hours,
    but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. Wall Creek Trail is a normal length hiking trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this hiking trail brilliant for the average backcountry trekker looking for a cool adventure.

Sometimes this backcountry trail gets really dry, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. For the period of the warm months here at Wall Creek Trail, high temperatures usually reach the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. Throughout the wintertime this location gets highs in the 40's, and throughout the dark hours in  
the wintertime at Wall Creek Trail temperatures descend to the 20's. The backcountry trail stays roughly within the same elevation zone the whole time, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your backcountry hike. The number of hiking trails in this area is not very high. The total elevation difference for Wall Creek Trail is 552 feet which is lower than average. Wall Creek Trail is a location that is relatively dried up frequently; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. Trekking here in the Blue Mountains is a really glorious way to spend quality time in the wilderness. Wall Creek Trail has two trailheads, so backpacking it one way is an option if you can arrange for a ride back. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. Wall Creek Trail is 5.6 miles long it's an average length backcountry trail.

It's a brilliant idea to stop at Johnson Creek, it's next to Wall Creek Trail, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Yearling Spring.
This river has so much to offer. Don't miss out on a journey to John Day Fossil Beds National Monument while you're here at Wall Creek Trail, and not far from Wall Creek Trail you acquire some good water scenery at Bull Prairie Dam. If you want a delightful time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Blue Mountains. Rocky Flat is right here at Wall Creek Trail; why not go to close by Colvin Creek while you're here at Wall Creek Trail. Stay the night at Elkhorn Tavern and RV Park, and don't leave Wall Creek Trail without first paying a visit to Bull Prairie Spring.
