  Oregon is a perfect place for outdoors people. Each wilderness hiking trail in Oregon is charming in its own way. Trekking here in Oregon is something that is always fun to do. Waldo Lake Trail is a wet site that gets a great deal of precipitation; December is the month that gets the most rain while July is regularly the driest month. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Waldo Lake Trail, and the overnight is rather cooler of course, ordinarily in the 40's. The cold days of the winter
    come with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows at Waldo Lake Trail during the winter ordinarily plunge into the 20's. Waldo Lake Trail is 10.6 miles long; it's a long backcountry hiking trail. There are so many tremendous wilderness hiking trails for backcountry trekking in Oregon,
and one of these is Waldo Lake Trail in Lane County. This trek shouldn't take more than 9 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. Some parts of this backcountry hiking trail are much higher up than other parts of the backcountry hiking trail, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. Sometimes this great outdoors trail gets really dry, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. The total elevation difference for this wilderness  
trail is 2,265 feet which is an average number. This is a neighborhood covered with lots of hiking trails. This wilderness trail has only one trailhead, so in and out is the way to walk it normally. Finally, trekking time is here again, and Waldo Lake Trail in Lane County, Oregon is the great outdoors at its best. Backcountry hiking here in the Central Cascade Range is a really delightful way to spend quality time in nature. Waldo Lake Trail is relatively far away from the most adjacent town, and it is a really magnificent trail. This is a long great outdoors trail, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. This great outdoors hiking trail is many miles long having an average number of uphill miles which makes this a very tough hiking trail for advanced walkers looking for a good challenge.

Briefly about the general area:
Just can't get enough of the Central Cascade Range. While you're here at Waldo Lake Trail it's a good idea to take a look at Pothole Meadow; nearby you hit upon Klovdahl Bay. You should beyond doubt dedicate some time to Black Meadows while you're here at Waldo Lake Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Shelter Cove Resort is a great place to camp.
And if that's not sufficient there's plenty more amusing stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range. If you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on McKenzie River - South Fork. If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Waldo Lake Trail. Twin Springs Campground is a pleasant campground nearby, and Hills Creek is a great whitewater spot nearby. A short journey to Salt Creek Falls is always worthwhile, and do pop by Nettie Creek if you're here at Waldo Lake Trail.
Lillian Falls is always fun to check out; don't forget to take a great little tour to Klovdahl Creek.
