Briefly about the general area: Wy'east Basin is right here at Vista Ridge Trail, and some close by water includes Compass Creek. All year is a fine time in the Central Cascade Range if you
love the outdoors. This is a popular location for people from Hood River. So much exciting stuff to do here in the Central Cascade Range, too great to be true. There are some perfect whitewater spots on Hood River - Lake Branch; naturally, A spree to Leuthold Couloir is always
fun. Cairn Basin is a good location here at Vista Ridge Trail; don't leave Vista Ridge Trail without first paying a visit to Wallalute Falls. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Hood River - West Fork. There's so much to do here at Vista
Ridge Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Ladd Creek Campground is a great location for that. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Vista Ridge Trail. Stay the night at Reservoir Campground; getting to Stump Creek from Vista Ridge Trail is simple.
