Varney Creek Trail is a normal length hiking trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a tremendous backpacking and hiking trail for experienced backcountry trekkers in splendid shape. Different parts of Varney Creek Trail are at very different elevations, and that means that some parts of the backpacking trail could be very different from other parts of it. Varney Creek Trail has only one trailhead, so you're looking at an in and out backcountry trek. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go. Camping at White Pine Campground is always a good experience, and Odessa Spring is an inspiring location to have a look at during your stay. Get dripping wet paddling on Klamath River, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Wampler Spring. A fine place to camp here at Varney Creek Trail is Lake Of The woods Resort; some of the water close by flows, like Seldom Creek.
