Oregon hiking trails - Twin Ponds Trail, Southern Cascade Range, Klamath County

You spend the whole walk in roughly the same elevation zone which means the conditions are about the same from start to finish. Trekking here in Oregon is always a cool thing to do.     County. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Twin Ponds Trail, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. All through the winter this spot gets highs in the 40's; nighttime lows throughout the winter for Twin Ponds Trail tend to be in the 20's. And keep in mind that
there could be temporary safety restrictions in place. This is a two-ended trail with two trailheads, so backcountry backpacking it one way is an option if you can arrange for a ride back. You should count on this hike taking about 8.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. Trekking here in the Southern Cascade Range is a wonderful way to explore these highlands. Twin Ponds Trail is a trail of great length with very little uphill walking involved which makes this a very tough backcountry hiking trail  
for advanced backcountry walkers looking for a nice challenge. Twin Ponds Trail has a total elevation difference of 1,377 feet which is about average. With its 10.2 miles of walking distance; it's considered a longer walk. At parts of the year this vicinity sees very little rain, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. A common amount of precipitation falls here at Twin Ponds Trail; November is when you get the most rain here, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Twin Ponds Trail is quite long, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. This is just one of a large number of backcountry hiking trails in this vicinity. Put on your backcountry trekking shoes, and hit the hiking trail, Twin Ponds Trail in Klamath County, Oregon is a perfect location for getting out.

Briefly about the general area:
Gypsy Spring is an inspiring site to visit while here, and some of the water nearby flows, like Long Creek. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! The Southern Cascade Range is excellent! A fine location to camp here at Twin Ponds Trail is Saddle Campground, and getting to Swan Creek from Twin Ponds Trail is simple.
Why not camp at Upper South Fork Campground while you're here at Twin Ponds Trail, and a spree to Twin Ponds Trail wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Christis Spring. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun stuff the Southern Cascade Range has to offer. Buck Basin is a great site to check out, and drift down the rapids of Rogue River - North Fork in a kayak.
If you adore the outdoors, you'll love Twin Ponds Trail. Doe Point is in the neighborhood of Twin Ponds Trail and is a great place to check out, and a journey to McKee Basin invigorates the soul.
