Wilderness hiking trails like this one here in the Central Cascade Range are a really good way to spend quality time in the wilderness. Being 4.6 miles long it's an average length great outdoors trail. For the period of the summertime at Twin Meadows Trail temperatures are commonly in the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's; overnight lows at Twin Meadows Trail through the wintertime frequently dip into the 30's. There's not much difference in elevation along Twin Meadows Trail, so you get pretty much the same conditions along the whole great outdoors trail.

Berry Creek is a brilliant spot to check out; get your pulse rate up on the perfect whitewater of Clackamas River.
