and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Zigzag River. This place, the Central Cascade Range, has so much outdoors exciting things. You feel that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. If you want a little side visit, try
Sand Canyon; some close by water includes Swim Creek. Stay the night at Barlow Campground, and some delightful nature is available in Mount Hood National Forest.
