Timberline Trail is 41.6 miles long; it's longer than many great outdoors trails. This trek should take you about 6.5 days, so make sure you've got all your overnight gear packed. Different parts of this great outdoors trail are at very different elevations which of course means you need to be prepared for different conditions on different parts of the great outdoors trail. Now this hiking trail is pretty long, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. Timberline Trail has a total elevation difference of 3,731 feet which is higher than average. There are two trailheads to chose from, one in each end, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can hike it just one way.
