Trail in Hood River County, Oregon is a fine place to go. This great outdoors trail is many miles long having an average number of uphill miles which makes it a splendid great outdoors hiking trail for experienced walkers in splendid shape. Now this hiking trail is pretty long,
so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. For the period of the summer months here at Timberline Trail, high temperatures frequently get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's,
and during the dark hours in the winter at Timberline Trail temperatures descend to the 30's. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. This is a neighborhood covered with lots of great outdoors hiking trails. This hiking trail sometimes gets very dry, so do check
for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire.
Briefly about the general area: You'll need more than a day to explore everything Timberline Trail has to offer, you can camp at Salmon River Campground, and do pop by Compass
Creek while you're here at Timberline Trail. Put some time aside to spend at Ramona Falls if you're here at Timberline Trail, and at Timberline Trail you always meet someone from Hood River. Switchback Falls is a good local attraction; do schedule some time to have a look at
Buzzard Point if you have a chance. Yeah, come up here to the Central Cascade Range for a delightful time. Devils Kitchen is a gorgeous place any time of year, and in the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Hood River - West
Fork. Yep, outdoors amusing stuff to do are truly abundant here at Timberline Trail. Cairn Basin is a perfect place to check out, and you can stay the night at Nanitch Campground. All the outdoors fun stuff in the Central Cascade Range will keep you coming back repeatedly.
Hood River - Lake Branch is a wonderful whitewater spot next to Timberline Trail, and a tremendous location is Leuthold Couloir. Don't forget to take a great little journey to East Fork Salmon River, and a wooded region close by is Mount Hood National Forest.
