trail gets really dry, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. This is just one of a large number of wilderness trails in this neighborhood. Backcountry trekking here in the Central Cascade Range is a perfect

Jane Trail is a good location to visit for more than one day, Reservoir Campground is a good location to camp nearby. So much cool stuff in close proximity to Tilly Jane Trail, just remarkable. A trip to Hannum Spring will fill your soul with good feelings, and there are plenty of folks from Hood River here.
