walk taking about 8 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. This is a long backcountry trail, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. Spending too much time indoors got you down? No problem, Thunder Mountain Trail in
Clackamas County, Oregon is an outstanding site for getting out. The high level of rainfall makes Thunder Mountain Trail a quite wet site; most of the rain falls during December, and the driest of the months is July. This is a two-ended backcountry hiking trail with two trailheads,
so backcountry trekking it one way is an option if you can arrange for a ride back. The beautiful trails of the Central Cascade Range are a really great way to spend quality time in the wilderness.

Trail is easy. A short trip to Pegleg Falls is always worthwhile. Having a good time in the Central Cascade Range is uncomplicated. Some of the water close by flows, like Pansy Creek, and there are some wonderful whitewater spots on Collawash River. There's whitewater on Clackamas
River for all you adrenaline kick people; Bagby Hot Springs is an inspiring site to go to during your stay. Looking for some flowing water? Try Rock Creek, and why not camp at Skookum Lake Campground since you're here at Thunder Mountain Trail. If you came for an overnight stay B and B Rentals is a great place to camp, and a pleasant journey to Lost Creek Meadow is a great way to spend an afternoon.
