Oregon hiking trails - Threemile Trail, Central Cascade Range, Wasco County       Each one of the many hiking and backpacking trails of Oregon is worth backcountry backpacking. Threemile Trail is situated a rather long drive from Hood River, but backcountry trekking it is always fun. Time to get out, and breathe some fresh air, and Threemile Trail in Wasco County, Oregon is a really great site to spend some time. Threemile Trail is 11.2 miles long; it's longer than many great outdoors trails. Outdoors folks generally like this part of Oregon. There are many magnificent hiking and backpacking trails in Oregon, and one of these is     Threemile Trail in Wasco County. This great outdoors hiking trail has only one trailhead, so you'll be trekking it in and back out. These wilderness trails here in the Central Cascade Range are the best way to enjoy these mountaintops. Threemile Trail is quite long, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. Different parts of Threemile Trail are at very different elevations, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. There are so many wilderness hiking trails in this neighborhood. For the duration of the warm days of summer highs here at Threemile Trail get into the 60's, and the overnight is slightly chillier of course, ordinarily in the 40's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Threemile Trail are in the 20's. This walk should take you about 1.5 days,   so make sure you've got all your overnight gear packed. If you happen to be in Oregon, why not go backcountry backpacking, it is so much fun. Threemile Trail is a reasonably wet location ordinarily with a lot of precipitation; December is the wettest month with most snow, and July is when it's the driest. This great outdoors hiking trail has a total elevation difference of 2,546 feet which is a higher than average number. This wilderness trail is a very long wilderness trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a great wilderness hiking trail for experienced backcountry walkers in great shape. Camping is available at Nottingham Campground; while you're here at Threemile Trail it's a great idea to explore Crane Prairie. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting things the Central Cascade Range has to offer. A pleasant location to explore close to Threemile Trail is Gumjuwac Saddle, and why not go to Flag Point also since you're here. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! The Central Cascade Range rules! Get drenched paddling on White River, and Bell Spring is a nice local attraction. Get yourself into a kayak and hit White River; camping at Dam Campground is always a glorious experience. Getting to Goat Creek from Threemile Trail is uncomplicated, and do set aside some time for High Prairie while you're here at Threemile Trail. All the outdoors entertaining stuff near Threemile Trail will keep you coming back again and again. Take a little spree to Pine Creek if you're here at Threemile Trail, and Sunrise Springs is always fun to check out.
