fun. This hiking trail is many miles long having an average number of uphill miles which makes this a very tough trail for advanced walkers looking for a magnificent challenge. These hiking trails here in the Central Cascade Range are a brilliant way to explore these mountaintops.
A lengthy journey divides Hood River from Threemile Trail, but there's glorious natural beauty waiting here for you along it. There are so many trails in this vicinity. Threemile Trail gets a great deal of water; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most snow;
the driest of the months is July. This hiking and backpacking trail has only one trailhead, so you'll be backpacking it in and back out.
Briefly about the general area: This river is a great place to visit. Everybody loves Crane Prairie, and if you come at the right
time of year, White River offers some tremendous whitewater. You clearly ought to fancy the Central Cascade Range. A delightful place to camp here at Threemile Trail is Nottingham Campground; there's some flowing water close by, Goat Creek is a stream you can stop at while here.
Threemile Trail is great enough to spend more than a day at, Dam Campground is a great local campground; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend White River. Man, is there a lot of cool stuff to do near Threemile Trail. A visit to High Prairie
rejuvenates the soul; nearby you locate Gumjuwac Saddle which is a delightful site to stop at. These mountains rock, just check out all the entertaining stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range. While you're here at Threemile Trail you have to check out Flag Point, and obviously
Pine Creek flows through this region. This is such a wonderful river. A short trip to Bell Spring is always worthwhile. Threemile Trail is a site with many visitors from Hood River, and a journey to Threemile Trail wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Sunrise Springs.
