Creek Trail, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Thielsen Creek Trail are in the 20's. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. There are so many good backpacking trails for hiking in Oregon, and among these are Thielsen Creek Trail in Douglas County. This is just one of a large number of wilderness trails in this neighborhood. This wilderness hiking trail is a wilderness hiking trail of great length having an average number of uphill miles  
which makes this a very tough wilderness trail for advanced hikers looking for a nice challenge. This trek shouldn't take more than 8 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. We all need to get out in the outdoors once in a while, and Thielsen Creek Trail in Douglas County, Oregon is an excellent selection. Sometimes this backcountry hiking trail gets really dry, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. Thielsen Creek Trail has only one trailhead, so you're looking at an in and out walk. The total elevation difference for Thielsen Creek Trail is 1,730 feet which is about average. Keep in mind that this is a long backcountry hiking trail, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip.

If time allows, Crater Lake National Park is a national park worth checking out; you can hit the beach if you want, Pumice Beach is practically right here. You truly have to fancy the Southern Cascade Range. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Thielsen Creek Trail has to offer, you can camp at Diamond Lake RV Park, and do visit Spruce Creek if you're here at Thielsen Creek Trail.
