All through the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Tanner Cutoff Trail plunge into the 30's. this region sees the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. There is only one trailhead, so in and out is the way to trek it normally. These backcountry trails here in the Central Cascade Range are a really magnificent way to spend quality time in the fresh air.
This hiking trail has a total elevation difference of 3,045 feet which is higher than average. This is not a very long backcountry trail but it's always good to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen. Backcountry trekking here in Oregon is always an enjoyable
