Oregon hiking trails - Swift Creek Trail, Central Cascade Range, Lane County

There are so many perfect hiking trails for backpacking in Oregon, and Swift Creek Trail is one of them, and it's in Lane County. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in place. Swift Creek Trail is a two ended backcountry trail with two trailheads, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can walk it just one way. Swift Creek Trail is 11.6 miles long; it's considered a longer backcountry trek.
    Swift Creek Trail is relatively far away from the nearest town, and it's one of those spots where backcountry backpacking is fine. Different parts of Swift Creek Trail are at very different elevations, and that means that some parts of the great outdoors trail could be very different
from other parts of it. At parts of the year this vicinity sees very little rain, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. Now, this is roughly a 1.5-day backcountry trek, so better have big backpack to fit all the stuff you need. The high level of rainfall makes Swift Creek Trail a pretty wet spot; the month with most of the rain is December, and July on the other hand is the driest. Trekking here in the Central Cascade Range is a very delightful way to see these hills. Every Oregon hiking trail has its own character.  
Swift Creek Trail is a trail of delightful length with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a good trail for experienced backcountry walkers in good shape. This is a backpacking trail that is quite long, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. Alright, enough of spending all this time inside a building, time to get out, and Swift Creek Trail in Lane County, Oregon is a really fine spot to spend some time. At Swift Creek Trail through the summertime months highs are in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's while Swift Creek Trail night low temperatures through the winter are in the 20's. This is just one of a large number of trails in this vicinity. Swift Creek Trail has a total elevation difference of 2,139 feet, and that is about average.

You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the Central Cascade Range has to offer. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Salt Creek, and Chuckle Springs is a striking place to stop by while you're at Swift Creek Trail. Don’t forget to check out Wolf Prairie while you're here at Swift Creek Trail, and Pioneer Gulch is a tremendous site to explore.
Why not stop by nearby Bear Creek while you're here at Swift Creek Trail, and a good spot to camp here at Swift Creek Trail is Oakridge RV Park. If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Swift Creek Trail. There are some glorious whitewater spots on Hills Creek, and camping is available at Shelter Cove Resort. A river like this is too good to miss. It's a nice idea to check out Moss Creek, it's next to Swift Creek Trail, and Indigo Springs is a delightful local attraction.
