local campground. A quick tour to Butte Creek in close proximity to Swamp Peak Trail is a wonderful idea, and paddling on Santiam River - Middle is so much fun. Be careful coming to the Central Cascade Range, you might not ever want to go back home again. It's a good idea to go to No Man Creek, it's in the vicinity of Swamp Peak Trail; get soaked paddling on Santiam River - North.
